Jacqui Harris
Editorial Intern

Hello out there to all of the magnificent people! My name is Jacquie! I am a queer, white ally and post-grad in English out of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA, by way of The College of William and Mary for my undergrad work in Williamsburg, VA. But I am originally from Pittsburgh, PA.

I majored in Literary and Cultural Studies in both places. In the grand  scheme of things, I want to write pieces involving performance, whether it is about the performance, or the performance itself! There is nothing more enchanting to me than words being spoken and creating an atmosphere with those words that allows people to believe in the possibility of all things.

[pullquote3 quotes=”true” align=”center”]I firmly believe that you can connect to most anyone just by starting a conversation.[/pullquote3]

My favorite colors are black and white, and I love television, coffee, books, plays, and poetry. I also love performing poetry. There is nothing more important to me than the people I love, and humanity itself. I am love’s soldier, and I am totally amped to be interning with Queer Women of Color this summer. Let’s keep it rolling, and keep it live! — Jacqui
